9/3/97    First Bald Eagle (adult). Red-headed Woodpecker.
9/4/97    204 Hawks including 3 Bald Eagles and 80 Kestrels. 13 species of Warbler including Tennessee, Hooded, N. Parula and Ovenbird.
9/5/97    178 Hawks including 4 Red-shouldered Hawks and 2 Bald Eagles. First Swainson's Thrush of the season. Olive-sided Flycatcher, Red-headed Woodpecker. 17 species of warbler including Golden-winged, Tennessee, Prairie, Hooded and Wilson's.

9/13/97    748 Hawks including 3 Bald Eagles, 2 Peregrine Falcons, 32 Merlins and 313 Sharp-shinned Hawks (3rd highest 1 day total) including 70 in one hour (all-time high).
9/14/97    1,793 Hawks including 1 Goshawk, 4 Bald Eagles, 360 Sharp-shinned Hawks including 113 in one hour (all-time high) and 33 Merlins (all-time high). 13 Species of Warbler including Wilson's. Winter Wren.
